welcome: To the new This is Costa Blanca.

welcome to the costa blancaAfter two years of outstanding success and 100,000s of visitors later, our web design team have redesigned the site to incorporate all the suggestions that our registered users have made as well as new features.
This page is written for English speaking people that live on the Costa Blanca, want to come here to live or simply want to visit us on holiday.  We cover from Denia, through Benissa, Teulada/Moraira, Javea, Calpe and the Jalon Valley in the North.  What we refer to the Central region covers Altea, Alfaz del Pi/El Albir, Benidorm, La Nucia, Villajoyosa, El Campello /San Juan and Alicante city.  The Southern Costa Blanca covers Santa Pola, Torrevieja, Orihuela, Campoamor and Pilar de la Horadada.

Here are some of the ways you can get up to date information on the Costa Blanca:
  • our local news for the Costa Blanca is now divided into General, news from the South Costa Blanca region and also from the North Costa Blanca Region
  • the weather - well we're British aren't we, so we need to have the weather even though we enjoy over 220 days of sunshine a year!
  • what to do and where to go is in our new what´s on section that will keep you up to date with all the events, concerts and shows on the Costa Blanca
  • we also have a regular section with all the films in English and if you are staying in, then the TV listing will help you choose what to watch on the box
  •  we have updated our airport arrivals & departures to show all airports in Spain so if you are in the South of the Costa Blanca you will be able to search Murcia as well and if you are in the North then you can check out Valencia arrivals and departures
  • we now have a full searchable Local Business Directory of companies as well as a vibrant Classifieds section where you can advertise your business
  • finally if you want to become part of the expat world on the Costa Blanca then participate in our forum
If you want to contact us directly please drop us a line we're looking forward to your comments.

  • you can also chat with your family and friends in a private environment using our chat room

ticb communityThis is Costa Blanca is a great way to get your company known among the English speaking community on the Costa Blanca.  We have many ways that you can advertise to over 1,000 users a day with prices for all budgets:
  • the cheapest but one of the most effective ways is the classifieds from as little a €15 / month
  • banners are an excellent way to get potential customers to your website  - depending on what you contract this can be as little as €25 / month.  Don't worry about the art work we'll help you out free of charge
  • finally if you need a web, our web designers can help you build and market a website that will become a valuable tool to your business
One of the things we are getting asked about more an more is the availability of office space or virtual offices in spanish (oficinas virtuales).  Oficenter in Madrid is one of the best companies we have found for this and they will also register your company without having to have offices of your own.  The service is known as "domicilicación de sociedades" registering of companies. More and more companies are also requiring Quality Assurance in order to compete in the Spanish national market. Most people look in Spain for "empresas con ISO 9000" because ISO 9000 y 14000 are the two specifications for quality and environmental control that are the keys to success.

The other problem parents are findng for children in Spanish schools is getting them through those all important exams.  Abitaula has a number of different ways of helping your child / teenager.  For the ESO they have Academias de ESO and for the Bachilerate they have academias de bachillerato.
If you have your Spanish up to speed and you want to continue with linguistic challenges, why not try Italian? If you are looking for "cursos italiano madrid" you will find Il Centro Italiano to be the best option.

Many British kids on the Costa attend play groups or schools where there are climbing frames and swings. There are strict rules about the quality of these installations and one company you could recommend for "suministro parques infantiles" is Miracle Play, who meet all these regulations.

Two useful companies if you are on your way to Madrid and your car breaks down are: Gruas Galo who have tow trucks or in Spanish "gruas de rescate" and once you get to Madrid, Spain Car who have great deals for rentals, particularly for 4x4 rental ("alquiler 4x4").

If you are looking to expand your business on the Costa Blanca and you need more space quickly, one company you should visit is ET Europa for their modular buildings ("construccion modular"). If you require a strong room then see Abad, for their strong room doors ("puertas acorazadas madrid").

Thinking of moving? Then we got to reliable companies to offer: Mudanzas Luis López have got very economic removal packages ("mudanzas economicas") and Villalba Mudanzas are ideal for international consolidation ("grupaje internacional").
